“Rangers at a national park in Queensland, Australia, found a massive 5.9-pound cane toad that they said might be the largest ever on record. They promptly nicknamed it “Toadzilla” See the article here.
Now I bring this up because if the idea of a 6-pound toad capable of eating a small horse doesn't put a smile on your face, then I can't help you.
If you lived in Florida you'd understand. We've got alligators in backyard pools, iguanas falling out of trees every time there's a cold snap, and 20-foot boa constrictors in the Everglades, there's no telling what those things are eating. I'm thinking I've been eating cheese before bed, for free, my entire adult life. Pay me a grand and I'll eat an entire cheeseboard.
And in a prime example of an organization whose marketing director flunked marketing, a New York animal shelter seeks a home for a dog it describes as a 'fire-breathing demon', It seems the last couple that adopted the dog returned it because they were afraid it was going to “eat their older dog”.
I'm sorry unless I get full body armor with that dog, it's staying homeless.
And finally, a British Columbia artist earned a Guinness World Record when she used spices to paint a butterfly measuring 908.39 square feet. I mean I didn't even know “largest spice painting” was even a category at Guinness. Up until now, Preethi Vijay primarily worked with coffee, but for this painting she decided to go with “spices like turmeric, paprika -- vibrant colors." Because, of course

The world, my friend, is an awesome place. And it really comes in handy to have Google when you're completely out of ideas.
